At last year's
Artomatic, I discovered the joys of the marshmallow peep diorama, courtsey of the Washington Post's annual contest. I vowed to enter at the next opportunity, spent 10 long months waiting for Easter to roll around, and when Peeps Show III was announced on March 1, I got to work. Inspired by the documentary
Man on Wire, this is the end result:
The competition was stiff (1100 entries, including
another Peep on Wire!), but I made the semi-finals. Check out this year's top 40 peeps at the
Washington Post. Click on the link at the top that says "Peeple's Choice" to vote for MY Peep on Wire (#21).
And if you still haven't had enough gooey sweetness, it's time for some
Peep Jousting.
